Drahla (UK)

Hailing from Leeds, UK, Drahla emerged in mid-2016, swiftly establishing themselves as a formidable and distinctive force in the music industry. Blending wiry, dark post-punk with unpredictable art-rock, they have become one of the most visceral and exciting new bands on the scene, evident across their two sold-out 7" singles and the critically acclaimed debut album, "Useless Coordinates," released in 2019.

The Leeds-based band's success led to a signing with indie powerhouse Captured Tracks, followed by headline tours across Europe, the UK, USA, and Canada. Their festival appearances, including Meltdown curated by The Cure's Robert Smith, solidified their reputation as an uncompromising live force on the stage.

After a nearly three-year hiatus, Drahla made a triumphant return with two new singles, 'Under the Glass' and 'Lipsync,' showcasing their signature blend of dark post-punk and art-rock. A successful UK and EU tour, numerous radio plays, and a 6-Music session with Marc Riley marked their solid comeback. As the dust settles on their latest release, 'Lipsync,' Drahla gears up for the announcement of their highly anticipated sophomore album, making 2024 a landmark year for the band. All eyes will undoubtedly be on Drahla as they continue to carve their path in the music landscape.
