Malvina (fr)

Prepare for the exceptional debut of Malvina at Grauzone Festival—an artist who defies musical norms. Pianist, composer, arranger, producer, singer, pole dancer, conductor, and domina—Malvina is a true polymath.

Her first Pop Noire release, "BRAT," is a finely crafted production that straddles the border between electro and techno while playfully engaging with the codes of trap and metal.

With a rapid flow seamlessly transitioning from rap to vocals, Malvina possesses a style that feels born on the other side of the Channel in the early 2000s. Sporting two pigtails reminiscent of an anime character, her appearance contrasts sharply with the raw, introspective lyrics filled with rage.

Her debut EP, "i think my brain is weirD," released on March 24, 2023, showcases the undeniable talent of this promising artist. Malvina Meinier, a young music conductor, producer, musician, and composer with classical training, brings a modern electronic sound akin to Sophie or Arca. She has composed scores for feature films, including "Horses of God," earning her the award for Best Original Score at the National Film Festival in Tangier.

Currently on tour with Jehnny Beth (who performed Grauzone too), Malvina is not only making waves with her diverse talents but is also preparing her fourth solo album for release soon on Pop Noire Records. Don't miss the chance to witness the debut of this multifaceted artist at Grauzone Festival.
