Mint Field brings their lush, shoegaze-infused psych rock from Mexico to Grauzone for the very first time and it’s about time! Hailing from Tijuana and now based in Mexico City, the band led by Estrella del Sol Sánchez has carved out a unique space within the global underground scene. Their dreamy, immersive sound draws on shoegaze, krautrock, post-rock, and psychedelic textures, combining ethereal vocals, intricate guitar work, and deep emotional resonance.
Since their debut, Mint Field has released a strong catalogue of music that includes three full-length albums: Pasar de Las Luces (2018), Sentimiento Mundial (2020), and their latest, Aprender a Ser (2024), alongside several EPs. Each release marks a sonic evolution—introspective, cinematic, and emotionally raw earning them critical praise from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, and KEXP. Their performances at Coachella, SXSW, Desert Daze, and tours across the Americas have solidified their place as one of Mexico’s most exciting exports.
Now, for the first time ever, Mint Field will bring their transcendent live show to the Netherlands and to Grauzone. We’re truly excited to welcome them for their Dutch debut and to share their beautifully expansive world with our audience.
