Minuit Machine(FR)

Hailing from Paris, Minuit Machine is another act that has won the hearts of the Grauzone audience. The project, led by Amandine Stioui, returns to the festival stage following a widely praised past performance—and now, with a powerful new release titled Queendom.

Minuit Machine’s sound is a unique blend of darkwave, coldwave, and techno, defined by icy synths, pulsating drum machines, and emotionally charged vocals. Their music channels vulnerability and strength in equal measure, exploring themes of isolation, empowerment, and desire. Their haunting aesthetic and immersive live shows strike a balance between introspective gloom and dancefloor-ready intensity.

The project is also part of the Warrior Records family, the label founded by Rebeka Warrior, who will perform at Grauzone herself with her celebrated project Kompromat. It’s no coincidence that both Minuit Machine and Kompromat share a sonic and emotional sensibility, each driven by a fierce sense of individuality and queer identity. We’re proud to have them both on this year’s lineup and can’t wait to experience another deep, cathartic set from Minuit Machine.
