Sixth June (RS)

After years of anticipation, Sixth June are finally coming to Grauzone. Formed in 2007 by visual artist Laslo Antal and actress Lidija Andonov, the Berlin-based duo has released several albums across respected labels including Mannequin Records, aufnahme+wiedergabe, Cleopatra, and Young and Cold. Since 2020, they’ve released music via their own label, Sweet Sensation.

Sixth June’s sound is instantly recognizable: sweet yet dark electropop that Berlin’s Zeitung called “sweet, cool, dark electropop” and Vice described as “music for dreaming and new beginnings.” Their shows combine music, film, and visual art, making every performance a total experience. They’ve graced stages at Berghain, Exit Festival, and toured across Europe and Latin America.

At Grauzone, we’re delighted to finally host Sixth June, whose fusion of sound and visuals is perfectly aligned with our festival’s spirit.
