   . With his latest album The Healer, the French artist delivers a striking exploration of toxic love—ranging from abandonment and addiction to passion, jealousy, and despair. His music conjures the haunted landscapes of Eastern Europe, weaving echoes of past wars and ghostly memories into a tragic yet vivid sonic narrative.

Sydney’s sound is uniquely versatile, spanning the full spectrum of dark wave: from EBM, ambient, and synth-punk to Italo-disco, goth-wave, and even elements of classical music. Despite these broad influences, his tracks always retain a pop sensibility and sharp wit, balancing high production standards with raw, stripped-back experimentation.
