Bande à Part (UK)
London five-piece Bande à Part fuse alternative rock, abrasive post-punk and trip-hop into a sound that is raw, atmospheric and intensely physical. Distorted guitars, driving bass, restrained electronics and heavy live drums provide the backdrop for the confrontational vocals of songwriter and frontwoman Sabina Hellstrom.
Known for their uncompromising live shows, Bande à Part channel tension and atmosphere into something visceral and immediate. Their debut EP Grit, released in april 2026 was recorded entirely on homemade and broken instruments, and captures a band built on drive, noise and intensity, recalling the moody, angular post-rock of Slint and the crushing, experimental chaos of early Swans.
