One of the most exciting punk bands to emerge in recent years comes from Montréal, Québec – and they sing entirely in French. Béton Armé stand out through their infectious melodies, massive sing-along choruses and, above all, their fiercely energetic live shows.
Formed in 2018, the band draw inspiration from the raw sound of ’80s Oi! – particularly the French and Italian scenes – while injecting it with the urgency of hardcore punk. The result is a contemporary collision of Oi!, street punk and hardcore: direct, melodic, raw and savage, but always driven by hooks that stick.
