Die Spitz (US)
Future superstars Die Spitz are ready to set the world ablaze! Hailed as “the best new band in the world,” “the most exciting new rock band on the planet” (NME), and “nothing short of fucking awesome,” the Texas quartet are taking the global music scene by storm.
Formed in 2022 in Austin, Texas, the mayhem-inciting foursome — Ava Schrobilgen, Chloe De St. Aubin, Ellie Livingston, and Kate Halter — fuse classic punk, hardcore, metal, and alt-rock into a ferocious wall of sound. Their unruly, high-octane stage presence has earned them a reputation for electrifying, sold-out shows and frenzied mosh-pit devotion.
Their debut album Something to Consume (out September 12 on Jack White’s Third Man Records) isn’t just an album — it’s a full-frontal sonic reckoning with all the chaos, craving, and collective catharsis of modern life. Explosive, genre-scrambling, and fully loaded with guts and fire, this one’s gonna leave a mark.
Musically, Die Spitz move through a wild spectrum of grunge, metal, punk, and shoegaze, exploring feminism and femininity with raw, unshakable confidence. Their influences span Nirvana, Black Sabbath, PJ Harvey, Hole, and Mazzy Star, resulting in a sound — and fanbase — as diverse as their inspirations. Having shared stages with Amyl and the Sniffers, Sleater-Kinney and Viagra Boys, Die Spitz are quickly becoming a generational force — four songwriters, three vocalists, and one unstoppable energy.
With ‘’Something to Consume’’ shaping up to be one of the best albums of the year, Die Spitz have already proven themselves both an exceptional studio band and a sensational live act. Original, fearless, and fuelled by chemistry, they have all the components to go very far.
Following sold-out shows in London, Berlin, and Cologne, Die Spitz will play their first-ever Dutch show at Grauzone Festival 2026 — your chance to witness one of the most explosive new bands on the planet before they blow up.
