MUTINY IN HEAVEN was screened at Grauzone in 2024, and because we’re such huge fans—and too few people were able to catch it—we’ve decided to show it once more for a wider audience.
The film tells the story of The Birthday Party’s rise, peak and inevitable collapse: a thrilling, darkly humorous tale of artistic genius, ambition and self-destruction. Told in the band’s own words and featuring rare archival material and candid interviews, MUTINY IN HEAVEN brings this legendary band’s story to the screen for the very first time.
