After playing one of her first-ever solo shows (on piano) at Grauzone 2017, we are thrilled to welcome back Jehnny Beth — this time with her full band!
Jehnny Beth first broke through as the intense, magnetic frontwoman of Savages, the post-punk band revered for its uncompromising live energy and razor-sharp focus. Her solo debut, To Love Is To Live (2020), revealed a bold new artistic direction — cinematic, emotional, and fearlessly experimental.
Since then, Beth has collaborated with IDLES, Gorillaz, Sextile, and Bobby Gillespie, and starred in acclaimed films such as Paris 13th District and Anatomy of a Fall. She also created the TV series Echoes, championing breakout acts like Wet Leg, Fontaines D.C. and Kneecap, and toured the world with IDLES, Depeche Mode and Queens of the Stone Age.
The raw intensity of hardcore and metal festivals reignited her connection to heavy, visceral music and together with her longtime creative partner Johnny Hostile they crafted You Heartbreaker, You — her urgent, radical and liberating new album: fierce vocals, instinctive lyricism, muscular punk-rock riffs and uncompromising production.
