Although best known for sounds that sit somewhere between seductive house, dark italo, and coldwave, Cardini effortlessly moves between sleek techno, sexy EBM, and moments of hands-in-the-air rave euphoria.

Transforming dancefloors into feminist and pro-queer spaces, Cardini’s sometimes-gothic, always-seductive, wave-laced house music — showcased through their mixes, labels (Correspondant, Dischi Autunno — home to Curses, Kendal, and Pablo Bozzi) — remixes, and productions, has helped reframe the world’s understanding of the French electronic scene.

Their belief that something deeper lies beneath the surface of electronic music has taken them from tiny sweaty lesbian bars to flamboyant Ibiza superclubs and off-the-beaten-path warehouse raves. A quiet pioneer and true advocate for the liberatory power of the club, Cardini brings their seductive brand of dance music to The Hague.

From the queer underground of Paris to Berlin warehouses and Balearic sunsets, Cardini has played almost everywhere.
