All-female electroclash trio Katie Bitchcoin from The Hague blend synth-punk, minimal wave, EBM and new wave with punk attitude, sharp humour and a strong visual identity. Distorted synths, infectious hooks and deadpan vocals turn toxic relationships, internet culture and modern anxieties into dancefloor anthems.
Still fully independent, the trio has already played Paradiso Amsterdam, Vera Groningen, Kaderock, Sniester and Schorem Minifest, building a growing reputation for their energetic live shows.
Katie Bitchcoin has released two singles with self-developed visuals. With new singles and a debut album in the works, the band draws inspiration from Peaches, Miss Kittin & The Hacker, Chicks on Speed and ADULT., while creating a world distinctly their own.
