LA powertrio Primitive Ring channel the raw, primal energy of rock ’n’ roll into a fierce collision of garage rock, proto-punk and fuzz-drenched intensity. Formed by Charles Moothart (FUZZ, Iggy Pop, Ty Segall), Bert Hoover (bass/vocals, Hooverii) and Jon Modaff (Frankie and the Witchfingers), the power trio quickly forged a reputation built on pounding rhythms, scorched guitars and pure instinct; Primitive Ring strip rock music back to its essence; communal, visceral and alive. With their debut LP arriving in 2026 on In The Red Records (Des Demonas, Lydia Lunch, Kid Congo) we’re excited to present Primitive Ring at Grauzone 2027.
