Rasha Nahas (PS)

Berlin-based Palestinian singer-songwriter Rasha Nahas crafts music that moves fluidly between early rock ’n’ roll, free jazz, folk traditions, and experimental electronics. Born and raised in Haifa, her work is deeply rooted in storytelling, exploring themes of identity, displacement, language, and belonging.

Rasha’s debut album Desert traced a personal and political journey between Palestine and Germany. Her music weaves acoustic textures inspired by her homeland with raw, urban electronics, reflecting both memory and present reality. Narrative remains central—each song a chapter in an ongoing exploration of self.

Her latest work turns inward, examining home, doubt, freedom, and her relationship with her mother tongue. By blending traditional and alternative Arabic influences with experimental forms, Rasha Nahas creates a powerful and contemporary musical language.
