The Hacker & Rein

The Hacker is the project of French electronic music producer and DJ Michel Amato, originating from Grenoble. He is widely recognised as one of the key figures in the electroclash movement. His sound draws on electro, techno, EBM, synth-pop and post-punk. His collaborations with Miss Kittin helped shape the sound of underground club culture in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Joining him is Rein, the electronic project of Swedish artist Joanna Reinikainen. Rein combines hard-hitting electronic beats, raw synths and industrial influences with powerful vocals and a punk attitude. Together, their contrasting approaches create a dark, energetic meeting point between electro and EBM. We can’t wait to see The Hacker and Rein bring their sound to Grauzone!
