One of the most exciting bands around right now, The NONE are a lean, mean, fighting punk rock machine – a furious and intense new outfit that’s already proving to be the real deal. Formed from members of Bloc Party, Cassels, Frauds and more, The NONE’s sound is a collapsing, industrial-tinged post-hardcore racket honed through a string of explosive live shows in 2024.
Their lineup brings serious pedigree: Gordon Moakes (formerly Bloc Party / Young Legionnaire), vocalist Kai Whyte (Blue Ruth, Youth Man), guitarist Jim Beck (Cassels) and drummer Chris Francombe (Frauds). Together, they’ve quickly carved out a reputation with their blistering live energy and two EPs – Matter and the brand new Care (released February 14, 2025).
For fans of Jesus Lizard, Metz and Mannequin Pussy, The NONE deliver chaos, intensity and a raw punk urgency that feels impossible to ignore.
We are very excited to welcome The NONE to Grauzone Festival, where they’ll bring their “noisy and disgusting” brand of punk to The Hague for the very first time.
