Colorado trio The Velveteers deliver a ferocious collision of sneering glam-punk, fuzzy rock ’n’ roll and dark, glittering grooves. The Velveteers are a non-binary, queer and woman-led band fronted by singer and guitarist Demi Demitro and powered by the thunderous dual-drum attack of Baby Pottersmith and Jonny Fig.

Moving effortlessly between distorted punk, snarky hard rock, vintage disco and flashes of witchy psychedelia, The Velveteers refuse to stay in one lane. Their second album, A Million Knives, released in 2025, was produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, further sharpening their distinctive mix of raw rock ’n’ roll, glam swagger and irresistible hooks.

Their fierce, high-energy live shows amplify the raw garage-punk grit of their recordings with soaring guitar solos, pounding dual drums and an almost unhinged rock ’n’ roll energy. Demitro regularly breaks the boundary between stage and audience – crowdsurfing, climbing on drum kits or letting fans hold up their guitar mid-song.
