Toronto’s internationally acclaimed post-punk duo TRAITRS are coming to Grauzone with their new album Possessor, out early 2026.
We’re thrilled to finally bring TRAITRS to Grauzone. The Toronto duo has become one of the most exciting forces in modern goth—merging icy guitars, melancholic synths, shadowy atmospheres and visceral emotion into a sound that resonates with fans of The Cure, Cocteau Twins, Bauhaus, Lebanon Hanover and Twin Tribes.
Blending darkwave intensity with cinematic atmosphere, TRAITRS have risen to become one of Canada’s most celebrated exports in the contemporary post-punk revival. Their music — driven by icy synths, pulsing rhythms and urgent guitars — dives deep into themes of loss, alienation and emotional resilience.
Since forming in 2015, Sean-Patrick Nolan and Shawn Tucker have built a devoted global following through relentless touring and an unmistakably haunting sound. They have performed in over 25 countries and appeared at major festivals such as Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Amphi, Castle Party, Levitation and more. Their rise gained further momentum through extensive tours with She Past Away, Lebanon Hanover, She Wants Revenge and most recently an electrifying 2025 run with Twin Tribes.
With a reputation for powerful, shadow-drenched live shows — fueled by pulse-racing drum machines and soaring, melancholic melodies — TRAITRS now approach their most ambitious release yet. They bring their most intense, atmospheric and forward-looking work to Grauzone 2026.
