In just two years, Vals Alarm has become an undeniable force in the Dutch alternative scene. Exploding onto stages with a mix of sharp-edged attitude, genre-blurring songwriting, and pure live chaos, the band quickly built a reputation for shows that feel like controlled mayhem. After a whirlwind summer playing high-energy sets at Best Kept Secret, MadNes, Wildeburg, and supporting Goldband in a sold-out Ziggo Dome, the band entered a new chapter with the release of their second EP DON’T PANIC (October 24).

With DON’T PANIC, Vals Alarm once again tears up the rulebook. Singles like NEW BOYS and WHO ARE YOU? showcased their ability to shift effortlessly between moods and styles, but the standout moment is the track COUGAR SUGAR—a wild collaboration with BUBU (Boaz Kok of Goldband) that sounds like nothing else in today’s scene. Country influences clash with synths, noise, and their signature guitar frenzy, creating a sound that is unpredictable, exhilarating, and unmistakably theirs.

Live, Vals Alarm is a riot of energy, catharsis, and joyful disorder—an experience that leaves audiences breathless and wanting more. Their DON’T PANIC clubtour proved it once again: chaos is their comfort zone, and euphoria their trademark.
