Zaatar (MA)

From Morocco to France to some of Europe’s most iconic stages, Zaatar has been redefining what body music can sound like. Blending her Moroccan heritage with EBM, New Beat, and Trance, she has quickly emerged as one of the most exciting new forces in the scene.

Her track Abiad Al Layali on Ritmo Fatale first turned heads, followed by her powerful debut EP on Jennifer Cardini’s Dischi Autunno label. Since then, she’s performed in legendary spaces such as Fuse (Brussels), Gaîté Lyrique (Paris), Else (Berlin), and festivals including Astropolis, Montreux Jazz Festival, and Positive Education.

With hypnotic rhythms paired with melancholic melodies, Zaatar’s sets create an atmosphere both deeply physical and profoundly emotional. At Grauzone, we’re looking forward to witnessing her singular approach to the dancefloor.
